On top of Nursing, Becca has also been busy playing the Bass in the school's Orchestra and Jazz Band programs. They had many awesome concerts this past year, with magnificent peices and guest soloists. Becca also played at numerous weddings, allowing Adam to crash each "gig" and sample many assortments of pastries, cakes, beverages and wedding favors.
Becca has enjoyed decorating our house, and has had lots of help doing so...especially when the gang helped us paint right when we moved in. Thanks!
Adam graduated from BYU in April in Geography / Asian Studies, and now only returns to campus for the football and basketball games. Just a couple weeks after completing school, work started at a SL based communications company. Adam now installs VoIP for various clients located around the country. He enjoys being on the road, and learning such a valuable technology.
A dream came true this year when we were able to visit Taiwan, where Adam served his mission. We spent about 10 days seeing old friends and mission acquaintances, as well as pretty country and --of course, the beach! Cruising around via scooter was a blast, as was being with Adam's parents who came along for the journey.
Becca's brother Russell got married earlier this year. He & Trisha are a great match for each other, and we love having her in the family. We also love having them as neighbors, as they bought the house across the street from us.
Becca took her annual summer trip to California to visit her sister Liz. They did plenty of shopping, dining, playing, and hanging out. She was able to tend their son Mason, and help out with her sister's current pregnancy.
Our attempt to get famous was denied this past year, when we were rejected from our American Idol audition. The long drive to Omaha was worth it, however, as we visited fun places along the way.
