Adam and I have really enjoyed playing softball this summer. We are on a coed league and love helping each other improve in softball. Livy has been a great girl during most of the games and has just sat quietly in her stroller and played with toys. One game we had her in the dug out in the stroller and I was playing second so I could here if she cried. She started crying a little and I noticed a little 2 yr old went over with some candy and it looked like he was trying to give her some. In the middle of the inning I yelled, "NO, don't give her that," and ran off the field to stop him. He was so kind and was just trying to help. They stopped the game, it was embarrassing, but the paranoid new mom thought she would choke.
GIRLS TRIP TO CALI:
Every year I take a little trip to visit my sister Liz in California. This trip was especially cool because I got to bring little Livy with me. I was worried to take her on the trip because of her ears, but as always she did great! We arrived and from the time we got there to the time we left Liz and I had a blast. Mason and Haley loved hanging out with Livy and she enjoyed their company as well. Mason is a very good protector and he loved snuggling with Livy and making her laugh. We did a lot of shopping and even snuck in a trip to the pool. Thanks Liz for an amazing well-needed vacation, LOVE YOU!

UNCLE AARON's HOMECOMING:
It is so nice to finally have Aaron back from his mission. He got to meet little Livy for the first time and it was great to catch up. Aaron was a great missionary and people in Florida will miss him, but we are glad he is back here. We are excited to do some jamming and play in some coed leagues with him soon, once the missionary mode wears off. Airs, we definitely love the missionary humor though!
WELCH CLAN SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT:
Adam put together a welch softball team and played in a tournament this last weekend. It was fun to see all the welch boys get together and play, we even had Uncle Kerry pitch. They were a little rusty playing against some high intense old high school baseball stars, but they had fun to say the least!
LIVY UPDATE:
Livy is almost 5 months old and I can't believe time is flying this fast. This month has been tough for all of us. She got bronchiolitis at the beginning of the month and then got croup on top of it about 1 wk ago. I have tried so hard to protect her from getting sick, but it still happened. Her pediatrician has me giving her 2 breathing treatments daily right now and we are both hoping the wheezing goes away and does not turn into chronic asthma. She is still such a happy and cheerful girl that most would not even think she is sick. She is rolling over a lot now and is always wanting to play with something with her hands and feet. She makes a lot of noise and now weighs almost 18 lbs.
