Adam is half way done with school and will soon have to go through a lot of decision making. He is now deciding what to do after graduation...Internship, work. He is reading a lot and I love watching him truly grow through this experience. I feel like being in MBA school has helped him academically, but he has become a more motivated, honorable, path choosing man. I love seeing his confidence grow as he decides what path to take as a provider of a family. He truly takes his job as a father, and husband seriously and I can see it in his choices.

Well, What better way to bring in the new year than to be working when all the drunks come in!!! Yes, that was my new year...AWESOME!! I have been working a lot while being out here in Oregon, which has been such a answered prayer. I have learned so many skills at the hospital here and enjoyed working with others that are different than what I grew up with. We were praying for answers about our financial situation, while Adam would not be able to work and my job came up in the perfect time. That being said, my love is truly at home. I find so much joy in my children and Adam. I have really enjoyed being a mother of two beautiful/fun girls. I love seeing them when they wake up and snuggling them to bed at night. They are my life!!!!

OLIVIA- 2 yrs and 11 months
She truly makes me so happy:) She loves to sing and has such a beautiful voice. I often hear her singing around the house, which really touches me. She is such a beautiful dancer too and I can tell she really feels music:) She has such a sweet spirit and I feel honored to be her mom. That being said, I have never met such a busy little munchkin...She is always doing something:) I have tried some new activities with her and I think it is helping her channel all that energy into a learning experience.
She does not like to go to bed now, which has turned into a little battle at our household. We read, say prayers, and sing most nights and she then wants me to lay with her. I sometimes give in and just snuggle near her as we talk and tell "tricks", but when I try to leave she clenches my hand and says, "Mommy, don't leave me!" If only this girl wasn't so cute!!!! Anyways, we are working on it and I am standing my ground a little better now. Parenting is a hard and I feel daily I need Heavenly Father's guidance in our household. Here are some of the activities we have been doing:
-Coloring/Painting/Puzzles/Flashcards-Absolutely loves her Bob books and letters
-Playdough-loves to make a mess and try new things to make
-We started Piano Lessons: Mary had a little lamb, she sings the color and plays it
-Dancing-she will dance and say, "Look mommy I am a dancer!!"
-Pretend play-her dollies, doctor check ups, tea parties
-Loves to Help mommy cook dinner and treats
-Loves to play with Asia and sometimes explores new things to do to Asia (she accidentally bit her finger)
-Loves to ride her bike all over the complex--definitely loves speed like her mommy
-loves to eat yogurt, fruit(strawberries), noodles
-Absolutely loves her daddy and has to give him a hug and kiss when he leaves, and started doing rocks!! She also likes to tell us anytime we leave, "Don't forget your wallet"
-Loves to play the wii with Daddy
-So proud of our little girl who goes in the toilet now!!!-Sticker on chart method (started taking her every 30 mins) and had prizes and then once chart was filled up-we would take her to the ice cream place!! BIG GIRL!!
-Olivia loves her bath time, especially when mommy puts bubbles in it!!

ASIA (8 months old)
Seriously, this girl could not be better!!! She has such an adapting personality and just goes with the flow. She is always happy and I rarely hear any peep out of her that is negative. She definitely has that funny little laugh Olivia had and can break a smile at any given moment. She is active as well and is curious with her surroundings. She gets around so fast just by rolling and scooting. This girl has already choked a few times on these little tiny things she finds and of course puts everything in her mouth. I am constantly cleaning and trying to keep Olivia's toys away from her. She has started baby food, but prefers momma's creme de le creme!!! We are in no hurry and while she is sleeping 10 hrs straight, chunkier than ever and happy as a clam I don't think we need to change anything. She grew 2 little teethers over the christmas break and her smile could not be any cuter now with them showing. She melts my heart when I peak around the corner and see her smile in excitement to have me hold her. She has two cute little hands that are always moving and opening and closing, almost begging you to pick her up! I just love....LOVE this stage.
What Asia is up to at 8 months
-Starting to move around like crazy. She usually uses an army crawl technique
-Started eating baby food-rice cereal, squash, carrots, applesauce, pears
-learned how to hold her own bottle (because momma had to get on antibiotics for tooth)
-Loves and Adores her older sister Olivia
-Started Saying "Dada" and now says it on command and even calls out for Daddy when he leaves
-Always so so happy!!!Best baby ever
-Loves music and even started singing to a song in Relief society-So cute!!
-Now realizing how fun it is to play with mommy and does not want to take naps
