Cruise!

In October we decided to go on a trip to Mexico with our friends Jason and Melissa. It was WAY fun to set sail, eat, relax, and visit some cool places. The ship had plenty of stuff to do, including an arcade, mini-golf, ping-pong, karaoke, pizza bar and an 'adults only' deck with a few hot tubs. The slide was pretty cool as well, even though the pool was filled up with SALT water. Yack! I can still taste that stuff in my mouth. The rooms weren't too glamorous but didn't matter much since we didn't spend much time there. Becca is looking fabulous here (as always) with her little prego belly. It was a perfect vacation for her since we did alot of relaxing. We went a little wild and crazy one night and got tattoos! Okay they are fake, but still pretty frightening if you ask me. Who'd mess with a guy with a green cobra on his calf, I wouldn't!The food on the ship was awesome, especially the molten chocolate cake dessert we had after pretty much every meal. We took some risks (the Duck, and some sort of fishy-Yammed pot pie) that didn't turn out too well, but were able to always fall back to the classics. They also had a late night pannini grill we'd visit for a midnight snack. Nothing like a grilled cheese sandwhich & a card game to end off the night!Becca took her chances on a trivia game show, and impressed the crowd with her extensive knowledge on three proflic topics: Michael Jackson, Boyz II Men, and the Simpsons. I think she was hoping the topic would be emergency medicine, but she did fabulous none-the-less.It was fun to hit the stage in the Karaoke lounge. Maybe this was our consolation after our failed attempt to be on American Idol. Plus once the alcohol started settling in on the crowd, it was pretty easy to please them ;-)Whats up with this excersie buisness on a vacation? I about had a heart attack! After being on a 5-meal-a-day schedule, we opted for the bicycles instead of motor-bikes and cruised around Catalina. Our long 1.5 mile ride up the steady incline had Jason and I sweating out those molten cakes pretty quickly. Sheesh. I'm just glad it was down hill on the way back. In all seriousness, the tandom bikes were sweet. We snuck in a round of 9 holes in Catalina as well. Becca was my caddie and drove the cart around. It was a fun, picture-esque course, and we even saw a few deer. (I always see cool things looking around in the out-of-bounds for my golf balls). We spent a couple days in San Deigo before we drove home to Utah. We stayed across the street from the Padre's baseball stadium, and wandered around downtown which was pretty fun. We went to the BYU game saturday night, who so happened to be playing down there that weekend. All in all, it was a great trip and glad to be there with fun people

Lake Powell!!!

Russ and Trisha invited us to go to Lake powell with them this year. It was a perfect getaway in the first part of October, Thanks guys for letting us tag along!
We went and saw some ruins and enjoyed hiking with the beautiful weather.

Cannon was so cute on the trip and such a good baby. What can I say, he loves his aunty Becca!
Cliff jumping was definately one of the highlights for Adam. Trisha's Step-Dad even decided to join them up on the high ridge.
Mary is so fun and was a delight to have on the boat. She is an amazing girl and is always up for adventure, thanks Mary for making my life a little more spunky!
Adam worked on wakeboarding a lot this trip. Everytime on the board, he was trying to perfect something to better his performance for the spectators on the boat. His goal this year was to clear the wake, and guess what he did! The pregnant wife on the boat even started crying out of joy when he did, I did not think pregnancy would make me this emotional, I am a baby. By the way, this was definately my first break down that was random and hormonally driven.
