Ward basketball season for the Jacobson sisters!

        Every year I look forward to basketball season.  I did some city league play a couple years ago, but I really enjoy ward ball with my sister Liz.  It brings back so many memories from when we were in young women together.  Liz rocked basketball back then and I still remember her skinny legs running down the court making a lay up after a steal.  Anyways, her ward lets me play with them and we have a blast every year.  This year we made it clear to the final 4 teams out of the entire Provo region.  We are all moms and rock the court in mom-style.  Yes, I said it!  Our 2nd game in the tournament was against several singles wards put together, they had 16 girls and they even brought their own refs.  Here we are with 5 moms and no subs and still beat them.  I love playing with them and I am so proud of my mom team, excited to dominate next year and go all the way!!!

Real VIP treatment at the Jazz game!

     So VIP for the Welch clan!  Yes we got treated with true VIP fashion at a jazz game in March, thanks to our Dad.  Thanks so much Dad for sacraficing your tickets so we could have an amazing time!  We got all you can eat buffets, 3rd row seats that were padded with our own little tv's with them, snacks/drinks at half time, and last but not least went with great company--Ben and Shara!  We looked at the ticket and our jaws dropped, lets just say each seat was about how much I would make working for about a month part-time:)  Anyways, we definitely had a blast and are more than willing to sacrifice and go again if he wants us too anytime.....

Vegas Trip for BYU tournament!

     So I begged Adam to take a trip down to Vegas to watch BYU rock in the tournament.  Ok, so it didn't quite happen that way, I think Adam had the tickets bought before we bought food for the week.  Anyways, It was a fun trip and we had a blast.  We had some friends and family join us for the road trip and turned out to be such a fun and amazing trip.  We had our friends Jason and Melissa come and then Family; Adam and Liz and family, Dad and Mom and Little Sister Amy.  Amy was our baby sitter for the night time and it worked out great.  Here are some fun pictures of the tournament.  BYU beat and then lost to San Diego State.

Thursday: 

     We got to Vegas for the game that we were supposed to blow them out of the water, but only won by 2.  Yes, we were definitely a little rusty, but we had faith in our BYU team and knew they would come out and rock the next game on Friday.  We met my parents there and had a great time watching the game, well at least most of it.  Livy did not get very much sleep that day from driving and she was getting a little fussy at the end, but comparatively she was still such a good baby!

Woke up ready friday ready to go see the town and meet up with everyone.
