Halloween!!!

Our little Monkey had a great halloween!!  We had a trunk or treat at Grandma and Grandpa Welch's church and also a fun dance party with our friends.  Olivia understood this year exactly what she was supposed to do, she went around and in her small little voice said, "Tick or teat" so adorable!!! We always call her monkey around the house and use the phrase," Hey you monkey!" and she repeats it right back, so we thought this costume was more than appropriate.  She was even so lucky to go trick or treating around the neighborhood with her best friend Cannon and Elmo!!!!

Neighborhood Party:
Adam went as Michael Jackson, I went as his zombie and Livy was Michael's pet monkey!
(I wonder who had this idea??)

Trip to Ohio!!!!

Trip to Matt & Lisa's house:
We went on a 6 hr adventure to Ohio to visit Matt and Lisa.  Adam and I had been to Erie about 4 yrs ago when Matt was in medical school, but not to Ohio, where he is now doing his residency.  Ohio is so beautiful, especially in the fall.  Here are some things we did while we were there:
The first day we went to the zoo and Olivia loved it, it was her first time.

Livy absolutely loves Elephants and can make the elephant noise like pro.  So when we got to the other animals and would ask her what they say, she would reply with the elephant noise and laugh.

Here is Adam by his favorite animal....The Cheetah!!!

Sunday:
For church we were so blessed to get to go to stake conference in Kirtland.  I just love that city and you can truly feel the love and sacrifice the early saints made while they were living there.

Isaac Morley Farm:
Adam's Great Grandfather was Isaac Morley.  Joseph and Emma and their family stayed with them for a couple of years.  Here Heavenly Father and Jesus appeared to Joseph Smith, one of only 4 appearances in Kirtland during this time.  The spirit was so strong here and we are grateful for Ancestry, such as Isaac, who set such great examples of sacrifice for the church.  We only hope and pray we would be willing to sacrifice anything necessary when the time comes.

Kirtland:

School of the Prophets
located upstairs at the N & K Whitney store

Here we had a yummy picnic up the canyon at a park.

Monday:
We explored the Downtown area and visited Matt at the hospital.
There were so many fun things to see:)
