DECEMBER IN CORVALLIS
Adam had finals the week of Dec 7th and then the next week I worked full time because we would be gone for 2 weeks.  December has lots of rain here in Corvallis, but hardly ever snows.  This December we got to see a rainbow, which Olivia absolutely adored!  Here are some pictures before we headed to Utah.

THE TRIP BACK TO UTAH:
It was definitely an eye opening experience driving to Utah this year!!! The roads were really bad once we got out of Portland and all through Idaho. I said a lot of prayers during the drive and at one point, both Adam and I couldn't see one thing in front of us.  I was so happy to make it to the hotel, then next day of travels were definitely better.

Grandma Smith-Jacobson Party
We pulled in literally right before my mom's party, which was at Liz's house.  We read The birth story in the bible, did a coloring book (genealogy) activity, and ended with a talent show.  My mom made these wonderful books for all the grand-kids and she also sewed a little sleeping bag and pillow case for Olivia.  She also made little Barbie doll blankets and pillows and fun bags for her.  She made us some traveling bags, which are so useful and then gave us some family home evening materials.  She made a great music book for me with all her songs she has written, so I can continue the music tradition.  I made mom a calender of pictures of the family and birth dates and did a book for her as well.

First time I was able to hold little Ryder.  He is so Adorable!

These cousins sure missed eachother!!

PRESENTS WE GAVE:
This year Adam and I made family history books for everyone on jacobson side/warren side/Welch side.  It was fun to learn more about our ancestors and I felt like each one of the family would like one.  Here are some of the pages that were in the book.  Each family got a book of collage prints of each grandma/grandpa, dad and mom and siblings, and then histories and obituaries of the grandparents.  I tried to do an individual family collage as well.  It was a big project, because we made around 24 big books and 20 small books.  It was definitely a project!

These were our stocking stuffers we gave out this year!

Jacobson Christmas Party
We had a great Christmas party at Grandma and Grandpa Jacobson's house.  We did a musical program and then did the gift exchange.  Our family is amazing and I love every year celebrating with them.  This year mom made matching aprons for the mom's and the daughters, which was just so adorable.  Dad gave us all fishing poles, which we can't wait to use.  I really was touched by Kirsten's gift this year to all the girls.  She did frames for each girl and created a picture with all the attributes that she loved about them.  She is always so thoughtful in her presents!! Amy had me for the gift exchange and I got a sweet hat and so many adorable clothes!!! We truly think alike!  I had Vicki and got her a massage and gift card to Red Robins--She absolutely loves massages and she would always take me to red robin growing up.  Adam had Nate and got him lots of chill clothes and a movie, because he was going to be down a lot of the break for his surgery.  Trisha had Adam and got him a cool sports Wii Game.

Olivia sang, "I love to see the temple" in front of
everybody at the Christmas Eve Talent show

Mom made us beautiful matching aprons...so CUTE!!!

We ended the night playing our favorite dice game:)

1st week in Utah
The first week we got to Utah we stayed with the Jacobson side.  It was so fun to chill and hang out together.  Olivia got to cook with grandma and watch shows and draw with grandpa.  We had the best food and played dice almost every night.

We had so much fun, Olivia was pooped!!!

The new dress Grandma gave Olivia and Asia,
they looked so beautiful and we had a great time going to church with them.

Welch Christmas Weekend
The boys and Dad were able to sing for church on Sunday, which sounded amazing! I love that all the brothers and dad are so musical and are not afraid to share their talents.  After we hung out at the house for a night, we all headed up to the cabin.  It was fun to see the boys play Wii together!!! Once a boy always a boy!!!

 CHRISTMAS MORNING:
We had a great Christmas with the Welch Clan.  Grandma and Grandpa spoil us every year.  I was really touched by the gift Dad gave me, It was a little sculpture of Christ and he wrote a letter about the true meaning of Christmas.  Mom and Dad gave us some money, which we were able to buy a double stroller.   Steph made us all Recipe books, which were amazing.  We gave all those genealogy books to everyone.  Megan and Taylor had us for Christmas and gave us a sweet Foot bath and Soccer Real Apparel.  It was so fun to be with family and to spend time up at the cabin!  We have sure missed our family while being away in Oregon.  From Grandma and Granpa-Olivia got rupunzel doll, belle doll and pjs, snow suit, cute outfits, toys

SNOW TIME!!!
Grandma and Grandpa got all the girls matching snow outfits.  They were seriously adorable in them and I had to do a little photoshoot.  Lets just say... It was hard to get them all looking, let alone smiling-we did our best! They are the best of friends and I love seeing them play together:)

JAZZ GAME:
Adam's Dad gave us tickets to the Jazz game.  It was not just ordinary tickets, but they were the amazing all you can eat, best seats in the house type of tickets.  We went with Aaron and Steph and had a blast!!
While we were there I got to get a picture with a celebrity from a show Adam and I are way into right now.  His name is Ty Berell, he is the Dad off of Modern Family.

At the end of our trip we got to spend a night over at Mary and Jeff's House.  It was super fun and the girls were so cute in their beds, I had to take a picture!!

GRANDMA's BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION:
Grandma Muriel Allridge turned 80 years old this month and we had a big celebration.  The boys sang a wonderful number of Armies of Helaman and the girls did a princess number from "Tangled"  We each carried lights and it symbolized what grandma has taught us all.  She is such an amazing person and I have truly grown to look up to her in so many ways.  She is always so caring and so unselfish in all she does.  She loves to learn and is always found reading a book.  She loves music and can still play the piano amazingly well.  She did canning, music, gardening, sewing, and homemaking so well while raising her kids. But the biggest quality I admire about her is her Trust and Love for the Lord.  She has such a strong testimony of the Gospel and it shows through the way she leads her life.  I sure love our grandma!!!

At the hotel heading back to our home in Corvallis.  We had such a wonderful trip and we feel so grateful to have such an amazing family!! We are one lucky family for sure!!!
