Lives of the Welch clan!

Things at the welch house have changed a bit, but one thing hasn't changed much and that is...LIFE IS GOOD!

ADAM:
Adam got a new job at a company named "At Task," which is really pushing him. He is the top in sales out of the crew they hired and even tied for 1st in the golf tournament they had this last week. When he comes home from work he runs in and throws his stuff down and yells, "Where are my girls!" I love it! He is such an amazing dad to Livy and gets a lot of practice with me working almost every weekend.
When he is not at work he keeps himself busy with softball twice a week, where he recently scraped his leg really good by sliding too much. We play on a weekly league and then he plays with my brother on one as well. He is also teaching cello lessons to this cute girl named Kayla. He does a great job with her and I think it is helping him keep his cello skills up. He is also the Ward choir director and Stake music assistant director, which keeps him busy on Sundays. He somehow squeezes in some extra time to do yard work, golfing, playing with his rockets, and last but not least snuggle with me and watch lost! He is a great husband and dad!

He likes to sing made up songs with her and she loves it! Daddy's girl in the making.

He has had so much fun with rockets the last month or so, notice who is also having fun with them. What can you do? He is young at heart:)

BECCA
I have loved being a mom and love watching Livy grow everyday. She is definitely a missing puzzle piece that I was looking for the last year. I love filling my day with singing to her and snuggling her. I have also really enjoyed cooking the last month and have made the following new meals and food: Chicken cordon blue, white bread, cinnamon rolls, jam, homemade pizza. I have adam rate my meals from 0-10 and I recently received my first 11 out of 10! He is so patient with my cooking, because some meals are definitely below the 3 range. I am also playing softball with Adam and my work/ward friends, which is truly a blast and I look forward to it every week.
I work about 1-2 twelve hour nights a week and enjoy the time I have there to be a nurse. I recently passed the CEN, which stands for Certified Emergency Nurse. Sounds stupid, but I have been studying for this since I started working in the ER. It is a test that is not needed to work, but I felt that I would be a better nurse if I put forth the time and took it.

I had a wonderful birthday this year, we had a great party at the park and played softball. Thanks to all who came and the wonderful gifts and Adam thanks so much for the kitchenAid I love it!

LIVY
Time as a mom has been going really fast and now it is hard to picture my life without my little "Chunk-a-munk!" She has been a joy beyond words and is now getting a very distinct personality. She likes to have fun and she definitely has a zest for life. While feeding she will play with me and have me look at her and then she smiles and goes right back to her creme-De-la-creme meal that I feed her. I say that I feed her that because she has been steadily gaining 1 lb a wk and now sits at 16.5 lbs at 4 months, lets just say she could kick any babies bum at sumo-wrestling!
Well, Livy had her 4 month immunizations this last week and the pediatrician noticed some wheezing in her lungs. She gave her a treatment and said it might be asthma, but told us to f/u with her if it got worse. It progressed through out the week and then we ended up taking her to the ER Sunday night because she was having a hard time breathing. I did not want to take my girl to the ER, but knew we could get a breathing treatment that would help her breath better. She does not have RSV, but does have "Bronchiolitis," which is a big term for a viral infection in the lower airways. We have been hanging low at home and Liv and I decided it is going to be movie and chill week for us. Even though Liv doesn't feel well she still is so happy or tries to be, sorry cutie pie... you will get better soon!
Here are some pictures of her:
