Big 4th of July weekend!

This year we had a lot going for the 4th of July weekend. We started off the weekend with Megan and Taylor getting married. Adam's favorite holiday is the 4th so we did a lot of different festivities, here are some pics of the fun weekend!

Adam wanted to get his face painted with a waving flag. We asked the lady painting if a lot of people were getting their faces painted and she replied "Yeah, lots of 10yr olds and yonger" and Adam replied, "Well, I'm doing it for the Kid!" We all know it was for the kid in him, not Livy! I love you babe!


Adam ran the 10k with our sister Trisha and our friends, Ryan and Triana. I am amazed with Adam and how goal oriented he is. He is always wanting to do something new and fun every moment. This time he wanted to run the 10k in those "Napoleon Dynamite" pants, lets just say I supported his run, but not his wardrobe.


It was so fun to dress my girl for the 4th of July this year!





Adam surprised me and sang the National Anthem for one of the Owlz game. He invited his family with us and some friends. He told me that we needed to get there early because David Archeleta was singing and he didn't want to miss it. Right when we got there he told me he had to run to the bathroom; low and behold 10 mins later, I look down, and he is on the field. He did such a great job and I couldn't be more proud of him! I asked him after why he chose to say David was singing, and he told me that he sounds like a mix of David and Michael Buble.






Megan and Taylor's wedding turned out beautiful. They did their dinner the night before at an amazing Chinese restaurant up in Salt Lake called the Asian Star. The next day we had the ceremony outside of the Alpine Arts Center in Highland and then ended with the reception inside. It turned out very beautiful and we wish them the best of luck! Livy looked like a little princess in her puffy white dress and may I say, Adam was a hottie in his tux. Here are some pics of the special occasion:
