Christmas!!

This was such a fun Christmas with having Livy.  We did not know how much she would understand, but to our surprise she loved it!  She got this adorable dress from Grandma and Grandpa Jacobson and then a walk a long train from Nana & Papa.  We had Christmas up at the cabin this year with the Welch clan.  We had so much fun playing games, watching movies, and just talking.  My highlight was watching the "Santa's helpers" the night before, it made me extremely excited to have more kids and for them to grow up a little.  Overall, Christmas was a blast and here are some highlight pictures from it.
Our house decorations this year.  We also had some sweet lights outside thanks to Adam's hard work:
Our tree might be small, but I love it.  It is filled with musical instrument ornaments.

I hope to be able to make stockings for next year and make sure Livy gets one.

Christmas party at Grandma Smith's house
We had a nativity christmas party at Mom's house early this year.  We had a program and then ate Fish/bread on the floor, like Christ would have done.  We also acted out the Christmas story with all the grandkids, Livy was baby Jesus and there were plenty of shepherds and angels!

Christmas on Jacobson side:
This year was an off year so we met before christmas at Nate and Vicki's house.  We each brought a stocking stuffer for everyone there and then we picked one person from a drawing we had earlier.  I made Dad and Mom a book from 2009, with lots of fun pictures with Livy and grandma and grandpa in them.

Here is Livy being a little shy opening up her first Christmas gift!

Grandma gave all the girls little christmas dresses that were adorable, thanks grandma for a great gift!

These were blocks I made for everyone as their stocking stuffers.  I painted a block and then put their favorite temple or the temple they got married in on the front.
All of the nephews and single kids got ones that said, "I'm going there someday" I thought this would be good to have in their rooms to always remind them to strive to someday go the House of the Lord.
Adam had James for Christmas and hooked him up with a golf bag and a towel embroidered with his favorite golf name.....Lucky
Amy was extremely spoiled this year and received at least 20 gifts from me, because I got screamin deals for them.... I mean 90% off.  She loved the arrange of t-shirts, shirts, cover-ups, hair stuff, glasses, and more. Amy deserved it all, she is a great girl and I loved spoiling her this year!

Christmas at the Welch Cabin:
We had Christmas morning up at the Welch cabin up in Timberlakes. It was so much fun and we loved spending time with everyone.  Every year we put on a Christmas eve program where we sing or share a talent.  The christmas rock band usually comes, but since it was too hard to transport all the instruments we had to pass this year. The rock band consists of Adam-Vocals/piano, Aaron-Drums, and myself on bass.  It wasn't the same this year without "Feliz Navidad" in a Chinese accent, but oh well, we will have to make up for it next year.

Annie and Rosa are adorable and they did singing performances and showed off their Cartwheel skills

What can I say?  These upside down elves sang wonderfully!

 PJ Time:
Welch tradition is on Christmas eve we get to open up pj's.  This year we really got spoiled.
Adam got these awesome scrubs

I got these really comfortable stylish ones and Livy got a giraffe set.

Our slippers looked so cute together

Bedtime anyone?

CHRISTMAS MORNING!!!!

Livy loved the gift from Grandma and Grandpa, she just kept walking back and forth and laughing! Thank you so much!

We ended the wonderful Christmas day with sledding.  Livy did great, but didn't quite understand the snow suit, maybe next year will be better.  But overall, we had a great Christmas this year and we love having our little munchkin, Livy!
