Elevator Pitch Competition

     Adam had his big business competition and Dad and Mom flew out for it.  It was so fun to see them and it was cool for them to see what Adam has been doing in school.  It was called "Shark Tank" Competition, because they had real angel investors "aka sharks" that would be listening to the presentation.  It was the only time during the program where family and friends could come and listen to them present.  Adam's group did great and won 2nd place overall.  They also had an "Elevator Pitch" competition that night as well, which was what Adam competed in.  I was so nervous for him, because was the last to present and had to wait about 2 hrs.  This was a memorized pitch to a random investor they called up from the audience.  They had 45 secs to pitch their product to them, just as if they met each other on the elevator for a brief interaction.  He did AWESOME!!! So Good that He came in first place!! I was so proud of him, I felt like his mom.  We had a great weekend swimming at the hotel and enjoying Corvallis.  Olivia and Asia loved being with Grandpa and Grandmack.  Asia wasn't feeling very good, but was still so pleasant and loved to hang with grandpa.  Here are some pictures from the fun weekend! We are so grateful we have such amazing parents that are so supportive in so many ways.  We are truly lucky!!!

We had a special private tea party with grandma, olivia and me. We sure enjoyed the wonderful treats and sandwiches and especially the creamy hot cocoa.  Olivia dressed up like her favorite princess Belle.
