Easter 2015
Easter weekend was a blast and we were able to spend it down in St. George with the Welch Clan. We had a great conference weekend with lots of food, rockets at the park, and Easter fun. I am so grateful for my beautiful family this Easter. My girls are so precious and truly bless my life everyday.
Olivia is such a sweetheart and is always thinking of others. She is a happy, fun girl that is found laughing or smiling most of the time. She has such a tender heart and knows when anyone is having a hard day and you can bet she will be there pretty darn fast to comfort them. She loves to dance interpretative to any songs I have on my phone, she is quite the mover and can really express herself through the beat of the music. She is still amazing at swimming and can swim the width of the pool, she will turn to her back for breaths and then turn to swim, amazing to see! She is in preschool right now and is starting to read. She is on the 8th book from school and loves to pass them off every week, her teacher tells me that on reading day she is grinning through the whole book and loves to read! We are excited to start T-ball with her in a couple weeks and she is always up for anything active.
Asia is such an independent little 2 yr old. She definitely has a mind of her own :) She is potty training herself right now, which is quite entertaining to see. She just one day decided not to wear diapers and will firmly insist on wearing underwear. She even fights at night when she goes to bed. It is hard at times, but I wouldn't have it any other way, she is a girl that knows what she wants and that is such a good quality to have. She is independent, but such a sweet-natured girl as well. She is a little mommy in the making and is constantly telling me, "oh mom, look at that cute little baby" in a high pitched tone. She also is very musical at such a young age, she can sing most songs now and even follows with pitch. She has a very expressive face when she sings which makes it so fun to watch. She will be a great sister when Brigham arrives and all can't wait.
Little baby Briggs (in mommy's belly):) I am 20 weeks now and still nauseated all day long. The vomited has gone down, which I am very grateful for but it is still hard to wake up and go to bed with the constant nausea. I have found tricks that help, which I think I learned after 2 other hard pregnancies. I eat every 1.5 hrs no matter what, I go to bed really early (which has helped with the nightly vomiting), I keep myself busy when the nausea is below a 7 on the my scale, and then I rest when I am at an 8-10, and last but not least I take zofran in daytime and phenergan at dinner time. These things have helped quite a bit and of course not working right now has been a life saver. I had to quit about 8 or 9 weeks, which was a hard decision to make. I am showing quite a bit, but I am still fitting in my bigger non maternity shorts:) I am working out almost daily which will help with my overall health of the pregnancy. I have started feeling Brigham move and especially felt him this trip, which was fun. He is still really low, but I love to feel any movement:) We are always talking about "little Briggs" first this or that, which is so fun! We are definitely excited to bring in a little boy into this world!
