Jacobson clan visit!
My Dad and Mom stopped in while on their way to Washington. We showed them as much as Corvallis as possible. We picked some blueberries at a world renowned farm "Anderson Blues" and ate at a great Italian Bistro and then showed off Oregon State Campus. They were so kind to bring Amy with them and she got to stay with me for a whole week! Loved it!!!!

Jeff and Mary's Visit
Jeff and Mary came to visit us and it was a blast!!! We get along so well and no matter what we end up doing it always ends in laughing. We had some intense games of "hand and foot" and "Ticket to Ride" Ask them who won.... Anyways, Olivia loved playing with both of them and would ask for "deaf" and "Meay" every morning. We were going to go out to the beach, but got stranded at the gas station when our car broke down. But no worries....JEFF to the rescue!!! No really, he saved the day, Jeff and Adam drove to Portland and got a starter and had the car running in no time. It was amazing what 2 boys can do and how they loved having that "Manly Bonding" time together. Mary and I stayed home and watched the kiddos and did some sister bonding as well. Here are some fun pics of the weekend, thanks guys for coming out to see us and we will be there soon to visit!

4th of July
We got to spend the 4th of July in Corvallis for the first time and just loved it. This town is so quaint and personable. We started out going to our Ward's 4th of July pancake breakfast and there we met an awesome couple. We met Kyle and Jana Romney and their cute little boy Miles. We hit it off right from the start and made plans to meet up with them that night for fireworks. We walked on the river front and enjoyed all the festivities and then ended with a show in Albany. What a great day and awesome start to our adventure here in Oregon. Here are some pics from the day:

We have loved our first week here in Corvallis. Asia still has health issues with her Laryngeal Malecia and Extreme Acid reflux, but overall we are getting by. Olivia loves her new house and enjoys that she partly owns the slide (which is a park in the middle of the complex). She loves to play with her toys in her room and she even talks about the owl, which is on her ceiling.....I know a little weird, but she has a great imagination! Olivia is in love with her sweet little Asia and calls her "Little Sweetie" all the time. She is always there to comfort her when she cries and wants to snuggle her so tight, which sometimes Asia does not appreciate very much. She is constantly saying, "Asia is so cute!!!" and "Baby Asia... I comin!" and "Baby Asia, No crying, your a big girl, no crying!"
Adam is enjoying school and the different atmosphere and view points Oregon residences bring to the classroom. He enjoys how Grad school is more focused on Ideas instead of meaningless assignments. He has already done one test and did great on it, which did not surprise me. I have been amazed at Adam's multi-tasking skills the last month, especially for being a man (no offense guys!). He has managed to re-finance our house, find renters, get us into a great townhouse, finish online classes, move, work full-time and still take care of a tired wife and sick kids--Let's just say without his multi-tasking mad skills we would not be in such a great situation!
We have packed a lot into this week and enjoyed every minute of it. We toured the campus, ate at some great restuarants, met some great friends, met our new ward, went to newport Beach and finished the touches on our place. We love it so far and I have a feeling we won't want leave:)
